So I'm in college now. The real deal, plus the dorms and the school lunches minus the family the boyfriend and my car. It's been the first week and I'm not gonna lie I already had a meltdown. I miss my boyfriend. I miss my family. And I miss my car. To top that off, my floor is so loud all the time! I really thought I had it the worst. Until I walked downstairs to the 16th floor to use the girls room so I could brush my teeth. As I walked past my neighbors obnoxiously loud music, base banging bedroom, I thought FML! Then when I reached the 16th floor (I'm on the 17th) It was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. I went pee and I heard someone walk in. She was brushing her teeth and so was I. I decided to make a friend! So I was talking to her about how I'm so jealous she's on this quiet floor while my neighbors are currently yelling "dammmmmmmn" constantly. Then she tells me how her assigned roommate kicked her out kinda, how she wouldnt move her stuff out of the way or something for poor her to move in and that rude girl already went through 3 or 4 roommates! Then my RA today was telling me how my loud neighbors, one of them are new! Like look at that! I couldve had that rude roommate downstairs! Or that loud one right next to me but I was so blessed!!! To have such a down to earth chill roommate!!! Maybe everything is going to turn from worse to better now! Hopefully, well that's my little story for ya :] It might not make sense to you but I feel very fortunate.
p.s. i still miss home :[ & those douches are still yelling!!!
